SYNOPSIS
"Sometimes, getting lost is the truest way to find yourself..."
In the old days of Russia, a Faery Tale was told of a Great Wolf who actually believed he was a sheep. He was so set in his belief that he eventually turned cowards into heroes, and made the most unlikely of friends along the way. Then, as fate would have it, the Wolf discovered something more wonderful than any Faery Tale could ever tell. He discovered who he really was... himself.
Set amidst the majestic and breathtaking Kirov
mountains and in the peaceful meadow farmlands of old Russia, this heart-warming coming of age story tells of an innocent baby Pup who is threatened by the tyrant Wolf King, Caesar. For his protection, the Pups Mother hides him deep into the forest where he soon strays and finds himself living amongst a peaceful flock of sheep. It is there that he is befriended by a playful young lamb, Snow Flake, and the two become close and trusting friends.
Yearning to belong, the Pup takes on the manners of his fellow sheep who later adopt him as one of their own despite the warnings of Aries, the cranky old Bull Ram, that one day the Pup will grow ten times his size and become a savage beast. The young pup is even accepted by the cowardly shepherd boy, Rubik, who has an undying desire to attract the attention of his heartthrob, Sonya.
Time passes and the Wolf Sheep, the name given him by the flock, does indeed grow to be ten times his size, but still remains as passive as the gentlest of any of the flock's young lambs. However, at night he hears the howls of his clan. Torn between the love of his new family and his instinctive desire to return to his Wolf Self he must choose which path he must take.
This beautifully hand-drawn animated folk tale, which will feature the voices of a host of mainstream acting talent.
