SYNOPSIS

My First Day is a series that chronicles real 'first day' or 'first time' life experiences for the preschool viewer. Using music and narrative, our Mascot Buddy Bear goes through the chosen experience linearly and in the actual setting, taking the child with him.

Buddy Bear's unique take; humor and heartwarming qualities are what make My First Day a solid franchise and Buddy Bear a marketable icon with children. Buddy Bear establishes a rapport and becomes the confidant of the preschool viewer. Children love and trust Buddy Bear and to date have demonstrated that they readily form a unique bond with him as he guides them through their new experience. In the future, children will undoubtedly take their Buddy Bear stuffed animal with them to their actual 'first day' experiences.

Preschool age children love music and retain it like nothing else. Original songs propel our episodes through the narrative, to constantly retain the attention of the child viewer. The songs in "My First Day" have an elegance and magical quality unparalleled in preschool age entertainment - while at the same time not becoming too sophisticated or pretentious.

The Pilot episode, "My First Day At Preschool with Buddy Bear" deals with your preschool age child's anxiety over their first day attending preschool. Our title character, Buddy Bear, is also a little anxious about his first day, with Daddy Bear's positive encouragement they take off to school in a bright red mustang. Upon arrival, Buddy Bear experiences new friends, wonderful teachers and colorful events.
