Synopsis
American-Finnish young female director, Tii Ricks, brings you a unique horror film set in the beautiful landscapes of the Finnish Arctic Circle. Rage – Midsummer’s Eve was filmed entirely in real locations during the few weeks in mid-summer, when the sun never sets in the Arctic Circle.

A group of international friends living and studying in Finland decide to spend their summer holiday in the Finnish countryside near the Arctic Circle. The Midsummer’s Eve and the white nights, when the sun never sets, makes the summer holidays unforgettable and everyone seems to be having the time of their lives. But the noisy, partying group disrupt nature’s peace and attract the attention of something unknown. Our group of friends soon find out that there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide in the isolated countryside under the Midnight Sun.

The Soundtrack Album of the film will be released world wide by Spinefarm / Universal Music. The theme song for the film will be performed by a Norwegian metal band: Benea Reach. There will also be a music video shot for the song to promote the film. The music video is also directed by Ms. Ricks.

All together the bands appearing on the album and on the film’s soundtrack have over 4 million fans on Facebook. Besides the songs heard in the film and on the album, the rock and metal fans all over the world are in for a real treat: The music score is composed by multi-instrumentalist, Masi Hukari, who is known as the guitar player for rock band Amoral, and the fans of a very popular gothic metal group, 69Eyes, can also catch the bands drummer Jyrki69 making a cameo role in the film as a rock DJ.
The Director of Photography, Lawrence Dolkart, is known for his work in feature films, as well as in music videos: Mr. Dolkart has shot music videos for artists, such as Marilyn Manson, Jet, Stone Temple Pilots and Rage Against the Machine, to name few.
