STARBRIGHT is a modern day fantasy about a young woman who escapes into a world of fantasy and fairy tales to hide the pain of a childhood tragedy. Orphaned at the age of 9, Pamela (Sarah Bolger) feels responsible for her parents’ death and prevents herself from venturing out into the world and living her life. Despite the loving encouragement of her grandparents, she chooses to remain with them instead of joining her friends who have moved away to start new lives. Frustrated by her self-imposed isolation, and yearning to break free of her tragic past, she makes a wish and her life changes forever.
