Australian wildlife is more than leaping kangaroos and cuddly koalas. This programme presents an aspect of Wild Australia that the glossy tourist publications might prefer us not to see.

The continent is home to the most venomous snake on earth - the Inland Taipan. The blue-ringed octopus is small and beautifully marked, but a single bite can be deadly. The Redback spider is related to the Black Widow but much more deadly.

We see these creatures in their natural environment, learn about their anatomy, habits, and their venom.
