Aspect Film Ltd is an independent film sales agency, TV distributor and production company, with offices in London and Spain. The company was founded in January 2007 by former BBC, Beyond International and Eagle Vision executive Hugh Edwards and former Jetix executive Aneta Kianek.

Hugh's TV career began in 1996 as Territory Manager for BBC Worldwide, where he handled licensing rights in Africa, Benelux & South Africa, for flagship shows such as Absolutely Fabulous, Blue Planet, Only Fools and Horses, Pride and Prejudice, Teletubbies, Walking With Dinosaurs, to name but a few. He went on to become Director of International Television for Eagle Rock Entertainment's Eagle Vision, managing international sales of concerts, award shows and music documentaries including Alice Cooper: Brutally Live, Brit Awards, Classic Albums, George Benson: Absolute Benson and Up In Smoke Tour.

Aspect specialize in the sales and production of high-quality international films and TV programming, for theatrical & DVD distributors, as well as broadcasters and in-flight entertainment buyers worldwide.

In just over one and a half years, Aspect has gone from strength to strength. We have steadily built our portfolio of film & TV content, working with a stream emerging and experienced production companies and strong acting talent, such as Malin Akerman (Watchmen, 27 Dresses, The Heartbreak Kid), Jeremy Sisto (Waitresss, Thirteen, Clueless, Law & Order), Judy Greer (27 Dresses), Nicholle Tom (The Princess Diaries, Beethoven), Christine Lakin (The Hottie & the Nottie) and Austin Nichols (Day After Tomorrow, John From Cincinnati). Our current slate includes 48 factual programmes, amounting to 225 hours worth of television programming, as well as 12 feature films (9 completed and 4 in various stages of production.

For our TV library, our new slate features an exciting array of content from across the factual genre, which includes straight documentaries, historical documentaries, lifestyle programmes,sports programming, travel & adventure and nature/wildlife programmes. Some are 1hr specials, while others are series. Titles include the wonderful music documentary THE PETER GREEN STORY: MAN OF THE WORLD, an intimate and touching portrait of legendary former Fleetwood Mac and John Mayal Blues Band guitarist Peter Green, as well as THE RISE AND FALL OF SOCIALISM, COLD WAR REMEMBERED, STALIN'S LAST PURGE, SHARKS: THE SILENT KILLERS, OCEAN ZOO and SOCCER IN THE NEW WORLD.

Some of our highlights to date, include Orphan Films/Aspect Film's $15 million traditional, family feature animation WOLF SHEEP. The film will be voiced by a host of quality acting talent, including Christopher Lloyd, Tim Curry, Eric Idle and A-list talent, whose names will be announced shortly. These actors will have voice direction by four-time Emmy nominated dialogue director Susan Blu.

Our World War Two action drama BAD DAY - WWII, which is currently in pre-production, has been pre-bought by theatrical distributors in Benelux, Brazil, Poland and Switzerland, as well as having domestic distribution in North America. Two out three of our comedies, namely Chris Monro's BACK IN BUSINESS (Brian Blessed, Martin Kemp, Chris Barrie) and IN MEMORY OF MY FATHER (Jeremy Sisto, Judy Greer, Nicholle Tom, Christine Lakin), have enjoyed UK theatrical release, with BACK IN BUSINESS also being broadcast on Sky Movies Premiere and Christopher Jaymes' multiple award-winning IN MEMORY OF MY FATHER garnering rave reviews from Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Total Film, Empire and Maxim magazines. Our third comedy, John P. Aguirre's multiple award-winning THE UTOPIAN SOCIETY (Malin Akerman, Austin Nichols) was recently enjoyed nationwide release in it's North American home market through Warner Bros.

Aspect as an enity, is expanding. We will shortly re-launch under the umbrella Aspect Media Group (AMG). AMG will not only continue to produce and license international content through Aspect Film, it will also encompass our web design and online marketing division Aspect Click, plus some additional services.

AMG will provide film & TV sales & production, film & media production design, film trailers and posters, film & TV web design and online (Google) marketing, music soundtracks, visualisation, illustration, motion graphics, advanced 3D graphics animation and dynamic storyboarding.
