About Us

Aspect Film is an independent film sales agency & TV distributor, with offices in London and Spain. The company was founded in January 2007 by Hugh Edwards, formerly of BBC Worldwide, Beyond International and Eagle Vision and Aneta Kianek-Edwards, formerly of Jetix Europe.

Aspect Film specialises in the sales of high-quality international films and TV programming, for theatrical & DVD distributors, as well as broadcasters and in-flight entertainment buyers worldwide. We generally acquire all rights across all media platforms, for exploitation to our clients.

In just under three years, Aspect has gone from strength to strength. We have steadily built our portfolio of film & TV content, working with a stream of emerging and experienced production companies and strong acting talent, including Austin Nichols, Brad Dourif, Brian Blessed, Cameron Richardson, Christine Lakin, Diane Venora, DJ Qualls, Elaine Hendrix, Greg Germann, James Cosmo, Jeremy Sisto, Judy Greer, Kerry Washington, Louis Lombardi, Mackenzie Rosman, Malin Akerman, Mike Starr, Monty Lapica, Nicholle Tom, Nikki Reed, Shawn Hatosy, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Tom Bower.

We have a range of quality feature films; completed, in post-production and development that include:

THE PRECIOUS ONE, which will directed by veteran writer/director Roger Spottiswoode (Tomorrow Never Dies, The 6th Day, The Children of Huang Shi, Air America). This inspirational biographical drama is set to commence principal photography in Summer/Autumn 2010.

FADING OF THE CRIES is our visually stunning, action-packed horror fantasy, written, directed and produced by Brian Metcalf, starring Brad Dourif (The Lord of the Rings, Halloween 1 & 2, Alien Resurrection), Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie 1 & 2, American Wedding), Elaine Hendrix (The Parent Trap, Superstar) and introducing Jordan Matthews. This film has spectacular visual effects, extensive sword-fighting fight scenes and is due for completion Spring 2010.

EVE, is a paranormal action thriller/revenge movie, that will also be written, directed and produced by Brian Metcalf and Executive Produced by Aspect Film and set to start filming in 2010. Like FADING OF THE CRIES, EVE will feature dazzling special effects and swordplay.

In addition to our feature films, we have a range of titles in our TV library, which currently consists of content from across the factual genre, which includes documentary specials, music documentaries, as well as lifestyle/sports programming.
